Customer Survey Gives High Marks to Alternate Access®

Company's Converged Communication Solutions are Making Organizations More Productive

Raleigh, NC - 4 April 2005 - Alternate Access, a leading provider of converged communications solutions, recently conducted an in-depth survey to measure its customers' satisfaction levels and to determine the effectiveness of its software-based phone systems in improving their businesses' productivity. Results are now in, and the numbers clearly indicate that Alternate Access' converged communications systems are indeed making its customers' organizations significantly more productive. The company's customers are also very satisfied with Alternate Access as their vendor. 100% indicated that they would recommend the group to a colleague.

Conducted between the dates of January 15 and February 28, the Alternate Access customer survey posed questions covering the sales cycle, installation, training and documentation, and day to day use of the phone system. A high percentage, 50%, responded, and of those, over 2/3 reported improved productivity for their sales, marketing, and among management and executives. Over 80% reported improved productivity in customer service departments. And 56% of Alternate Access customer respondents say they associate a gain of 20% or more in productivity due to their software-based phone system. An additional 20% mark that gain at 50% or more!

One satisfied customer wrote, "Every comment I could make on our new phone system and Alternate Access is positive. I am very happy with the whole process and will recommend the system to others." He, like 88% of those surveyed, said they feel they have received good value for the dollars they have spent.

System features noted as the most useful to customers are: the GUI interface, the ability to manipulate voice mail like email, call routing capabilities, ability to use the phone system's capabilities through a cell or home phone, and management and reporting capabilities.
