RALEIGH, N.C. (April 4, 2007) – Alternate Access®, a leading provider of converged
communications solutions, has enhanced its sales team by hiring Marlon Headen as a sales
representative. In his new position, Headen will launch focused IP-PBX and Voice over IP phone
system solutions for new clients in key industries, including real estate, staffing and automotive.

Prior to joining Alternate Access, Headen served as senior account executive with a local branch
of Management Recruiters International. In that position, he focused on recruiting high-ranking
sales and management professionals within the banking, automotive and technology industries.
He brings more than eight years of sales and management experience in the automotive industry
to Alternate Access, including new business development, account management and customer
service.
